Week 22

So this week we started out the week with a goal to find more new investigators, because we found our self with only 4 people to teach, and they all happen to be in the Liao family. And they're super super great and all but we need more people to teach lol. So we had a goal of 4 new investigators. And lately we've felt impressed to go knock some doors in the smaller villages near the mountains of our area. So when we did this the other night we got invited in to share our message by two different families in the same night! And both set up times for us to come back and share more this week. So yeah we've really been blessed as we set goals, share these goals with God through prayer, and go out and act on the inspiration! 

But yeah the Liao family is doing absolutely wonderful. After some prayer and discussion, we've decided to meet twice a week now to prepare for the whole family to be baptized on the 9th of March. Its so great to see them come participate in church and see how the gospel has already effected their family in so many positive ways. Yesterday the wonderful Sister Ni brought Sister Liao and Jennifer along to go see President Linda K. Burton's women's fireside in Taipei. And from what it sounds like Elder Hammond said about when he saw them there in Taipei, they must've really enjoyed it.

So another little change this week was the wonderful Zhubei district has made a new goal to speak Chinese all the time. So that's been super interesting I guess lol. I'll just say it definitively gives the motivation to continue to expand my vocabulary. Things have been rather quite lately.

But anyways Taiwan's the best. The Spirit's strong. The work is great. The Church is true.

Well its literally been just an amazing week in paradise aka Tianmu. Like its sooo beautiful here. Last Monday this investigator family, the Liang family,drove us to the east coast and took us to 2 historical spots, 九份 (Jiufen) and 金瓜石 (Jinguashi). Both have so much history and are just soooo beautiful. I loved it. But the best part was we got to spend all day with this super cool investigator family.  But anyways another little highlight from this week was General Conference. SO MUCH FOCUS ON THE SPIRIT. I loved it.  Anyways I'm loving the mission. Loving the mission. Loving the people. And most importantly loving Jesus.  Pics from last p day

Well 天母 is a pretty great place

Well 天母 is a pretty great place. Elder Triplett and I are already seeing so many miracles here. My first night here we had the opportunity to meet with this guy named Kirby that came to English class and had interest in learning more about us missionaries teach. So we taught him the Restoration and he was super interesting in Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. We invited him to come to a YSA fireside at the Jinhua Chapel and he came! He loved it and just didn't stop asking questions about the church the whole time. We then met with him again after English class and he set a baptismal date! He's just a super great guy and actually just becoming a great friend to me and Elder Triplett.  Anyways another little miracle from this week happened just yesterday. Elder Triplett and I have been making a pretty large effort to visit as many members as possible every  Sunday . So this week was like sooooo busy. When we first got here and like opened the area I was thinking we were just going to be on the streets trying to find people for like the whole transfer, but we already have appointments like all the time and are seeing so many miracles! I'm really loving this.  But anyways last Friday we met with our part member family kids I talked about last time. Their names are Charlie (12 years old) and Yvonne (10 years old) and they are the coolest! And their lessons have been going great. Elder Hammond said that Charlie already understands priesthood authority better than most adult investigators. So they're just golden. There's so much excitement about the gospel in their home now and its a great place to feel the spirit. Me and Elder Hammond were talking about what great of an opportunity this is because we talk to so many families and its just not their time to accept the gospel, but you always wonder how it would feel to be the missionaries
